Toms River Emergency Services donates to Ocean of Love Billboard Radiothon

Radio station 105.7 The Hawk, will be having its annual Billboard Radiothon fundraiser for Ocean of Love October 19- 23, 2015 at the Target & Lowes Shopping center.  On Thursday, October 22, members of Toms River Police Department will be there with their Dunk Tank between 2 pm and 8 pm accepting donations for chances of dunking an officer.  Chief of Police, Mitchell Little, will be present and will take a turn on the platform of the dunk tank from 4 pm to 5pm.

Toms River Fire Departments and Toms River Emergency Medical Services will converge on the billboard at 8:00 pm to make donations.  Last year the donation was escorted by a procession of Fire Apparatus with lights flashing and sirens sounding.  One of the department’s ladder trucks raised their ladder and a firefighter climbed the ladder to hand the donation over to the DJ atop the Billboard.  The donation will be made in a similar fashion this year.
