Life Saving Award
On November 26th, 2022 a serious traffic accident occurred from the driver suffering from a medical episode. Off-duty Seaside Park PD Officer Ryan Stack was first on scene and began performing CPR on the driver. Officers Pollio, King, and Korpon arrived to assist. Officer Pollio began chest compressions, Officer King took over rescue breathing, while Officer Stack maintained an airway. Officer Korpon then utilized an AED which delivered a shock to the victim. Upon arrival to the hospital, the victim became fully alert and responsive. All officers involved are commended for their teamwork and prompt actions resulting in the saving of a life.
