The 2018 National Law Enforcement Exploring Conference was held July 16th-21st, at Purdue University in West Lafayette Indiana. The event is a bi-annual conference in which over 2,200 explorers from around the country get to compete in various events, and network with each other. The Toms River Police Explorer post #137 attended with 8 explorers and two advisors. They competed in team competitions such as Traffic Stops, Crime Prevention, Domestic Violence Response, and Judgment Pistol shooting. Additionally they competed in individual competitions such as written police examination, police physical fitness test, and non-emergency vehicle operations.
