Life Saving Award
On September 6th, 2022 Officer Carolan and East Dover Assistant Fire Chief Travis Veth arrived on scene and located a victim of a motor vehicle crash with life threatening injuries. Chief Veth applied a tourniquet to the victim’s partially amputated right arm and Officer Carolan began rescue breathing. Multiple officers and Silverton EMS responded to assist the victim who was taken to Jersey Shore Medical Center. Officer Carolan and Asst. Fire Chief Veth are commended for their successful lifesaving efforts.
