Congratulations to the officers and their K9 partners who graduated from the Toms River Police K9 Training!

Officers spent 18 weeks of school with K9 Trainer Sergeant Jim Reilly and Officer Anthony Carafa for Patrol Class. The dogs were trained in obedience, agility, tracking, building search, handler protection and criminal apprehension. This ran from January until May. The officers and their partners returned in September for Narcotics Class which was 12 weeks of school. The dogs were taught to search for and detect multiple different illegal narcotics.
