Detective Jesse Robertazzi #304
Detective Jesse Robertazzi is a 22-year veteran of the Toms River Police Department. He is a 1994 graduate of Toms River High School North and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice from Marist College in 1998. Detective Robertazzi began his law enforcement career with the Seaside Heights Police Department in 1999 before being hired by the Toms River Police Department in 2001. He is proud to be following the footsteps of his brother Joe, a retired Detective Sergeant for Berkeley Township Police Department and his late Uncle John Vaccaro, who retired as a detective for the Dover Township Police Department.
Prior to his promotion, Detective Robertazzi served the Toms River Police Department in many ways including the Motor Unit, Underwater Recovery Team, Crime Scene Unit, Bike Unit, and he continues to serve his brother and sister officers as the State Delegate for Toms River PBA Local 137. Detective Robertazzi has earned several Lifesaving Awards as well as two Departmental Valor Awards. When he is not at work, you can easily find Detective Robertazzi at the ice rink coaching youth hockey for the Toms River Hockey Club.
Detective Robertazzi’s proudest accomplishment is his family. This day would not have been possible without the love and support of his wife, Stephanie, and his children, Nicolas (13) & Trevor (11). He is truly blessed to have them.
